My husband is an Accountant, I love him
for his steady nature, and I love the warm feeling when I lean
against his broad shoulders.
Three years of courtship and now, three years into
marriage, I would have to admit, that I am getting tired of it. The
reasons of me loving him before, has now transformed into the cause of all
I am a sentimental woman and extremely sensitive
when it comes to a relationship and my feelings, I yearn for the
romantic moments, like a little girl yearning for candy. My husband, is my
complete opposite, his lack of sensitivity, and the inability of bringing
romantic moments into our marriage has disheartened me about love. One
day, I finally decided to tell him my decision, that I wanted a divorce.
Since the school year already started a week ago, I’d like to welcome everybody back to school. I know it’s a bit late but as most of us feel, I’m still in the process of converting my vacation-mode-mind-and-body to a busy-and-fussy-teacher-mode. I guess the process was complete now. Haha!
Before the classes started, teachers were already reporting to school to prepare their classrooms and everything they needed for the entire school year. I admit, I had a hard time decorating my classroom but big thanks to people to helped me out. As I was adding finishing touches to my bulletin board, Continue reading →
I often hear people say “Life is short”. It’s a cliché. Stories, movies, text messages, and even posts suggest how we should appreciate everything we have and let our loved ones know how much they mean to us. Still, it’s easier said than done. Though I know how things can change in a matter if split seconds and I have proven many times how one can lose everything in a blink of an eye, I still don’t know how to make each day count. Don’t get me wrong. I’m doing my best to do that. I just don’t know if what I do is enough.
Today, as I was checking my mails, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and WordPress, it occurred to me that I am surrounded by a lot of different people. Some are close to me, others are not. Some I get in touch with, others I don’t. Some are appreciated, others are unnoticed. Most of them I know personally, others I know by name.
Vacant seats. Empty runway. Complete silence. This is how Basco Airport looks like all day after the one-time-rush-hour in the morning since there is only one flight every day. It is unique and different. No shops. No restaurants. No relaxing lounges. No amenities. Not even a baggage trolley! Just an ordinary building made of stone but still it is my favorite airport probably because I felt like I was traveling back in time.
My grandparents’ wedding anniversary is one of the many important events that our family is always excited about. We have different themes every year. Simple and intimate (which is always the best), formal golden wedding, olympic and sporty, hawaiian party, and pool party.
To celebrate the 56th year of their togetherness, of giving and receiving, of loving and sharing, we thought of having a rematch of last 2007’s olympic getaway which was held in Ecopark. Since Caliraya resort is best known for its recreation and leisure activities, we booked an overnight weekend stay .

I heard Fuerza Bruta first on the radio when the RX deejays, Chico and Delamar, were talking about its star-studded premiere which they attended. They said they felt like social climbers since the venue was full of socialites, celebrities, and politicians. Hearing about how different the show was and how the performers involved the audience induced curiosity in my wandering mind. So, I consulted google to find out more about it but still I was not satisfied after watching the preview. The preview actually made me more curious (and confused).
Before watching the show, I had no idea what exactly Fuerza Bruta is. I read about how amazing the concert was but I couldn’t figure in what sense it was great. I was not even sure whether to expect a musical, play, acrobatic, or dance concert. Even the people I talked to about it didn’t know Continue reading →
